What it does
SortSite checks sites against W3 WCAG accessibility standards, and compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
It also helps with ADA compliance, by checking WCAG compliance. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has no defined technical standards for websites, but recent ADA legal settlements have required organizations to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA).
These checks find problems that prevent disabled users from using a web site.

File formats checked for accessibility include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PDF, GIF and Word. Note: some accessibility issues require human judgement and cannot be tested automatically.
